Also, if you do feel like purging the day after....do so. You will feel so much better afterwards because at that point, you've already got all the stones you're going to get all you have now is have oil left in your tummy, which will just sit there. I tried drinking a glass of water the day after and the oil just rose to the top and my stomach then let the water through to my intestines and then the oil went right back to the bottom of my belly.
Flush Position--I always lay on my back. They say to do it for 20 minutes, but I layed down and watched a couple movies straight because I couldn't get to sleep & since I had so many stones, I could feel them coming out even 2-3 hours later. I have found it better to stay in that position as long as I can stand it. Then I roll over to my right side and try to sleep with my knees bent to help release any that might be left.
